Tuesday Morning

6:45 a.m. Sherman Way, Reseda
Report of a drunk man in the street. LAPD West Valley Division patrol units are called to respond.

6:51 a.m. 17700 block of Erwin Street, Reseda
Report of a "459/Hot Prowl" (burglary attempt while the residents are still at home) at the residence. LAPD West Valley Division is requested to respond "code 2" (no lights or sirens), possibly to catch the prowler at the scene.

7:06 a.m. 14400 block of Emelita Street, Van Nuys
LAPD Van Nuys Division is called to Hollywood Community Hospital for a "battery suspect, there now." The alleged assailant is a male patient in a "yellow Lakers shirt and blue jeans" and the possible assault victim is another male patient.

7:10 a.m. North Hollywood
LAFD Engine 60 and Rescue 60 radio Operations Command Dispatch (OCD) that their patient is now in full cardiac arrest.

7:30 a.m. 10400 block of Oso Avenue, Chatsworth
LAFD Engine 107 and Rescue 107 are dispatched to attend to a patient with "chest pains."

7:36 a.m. Southwest corner of Sherman Way and Van Nuys Boulevard, Van Nuys
An LAPD patrol car has stopped a possible wanted person and has requested a supervisor to execute a vehicle search.

7:38 a.m. Van Nuys
LAFD Engine 90 radios OCD to cancel the rescue ambulance en route. LAPD is now requested to respond for an "apparent natural" death at the incident scene.

7:42 a.m. Victory Boulevard and Coldwater Canyon Avenue, North Hollywood
A North Hollywood LAPD patrol unit advises the other backing units to cancel their response and return to their normal patrol. The person they stopped is not the possibly armed and dangerous criminal they seek.

7:43 a.m. Kittridge Street, east of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, North Hollywood
Additional North Hollywood LAPD patrol units are requested to "standby for a traffic stop." A possible dangerous situation.

7:45 a.m. 7700 block of Wentworth Street, Sunland
LAPD Foothill Division units are called to the scene of a "battery/domestic violence" incident at the residence.

7:47 a.m. La Tuna Canyon Road and Sunland Boulevard, Sun Valley
LAPD is called to the scene of an traffic accident requiring an ambulance response. There may be possible injuries.

7:47 a.m. Tulsa Street, Granada Hills
LAPD Devonshire units are requested to the scene for a possible motor vehicle burglar. A male wearing a "red sweatshirt and jeans" was observed looking into vehicles parked on Tulsa Street.

7:55 a.m. 18300 block of Roscoe Boulevard, Northridge
LAFD Engine 73 is dispatched to an automatic alarm at a business address.

7:56 a.m. 7200 block of Alott Avenue, Valley Glen
Report of a "screaming woman" at the apartment complex. LAPD Van Nuys Division patrol units are requested to respond "code 3" (lights and sirens) for a possible domestic violence situation.

8:04 a.m. 6000 block of Vineland Avenue, North Hollywood
Report of an "ADW" (assault with a deadly weapon) in progress. The alleged assailant is described as a "male, with tattoos, 40 to 45 years of age, with a shotgun in one arm and a baby in the other." The dispatcher advises that this is "second-hand information" but North Hollywood units should respond "code 3" (emergency response with lights and sirens).

8:11 a.m. 12300 block of Burbank Boulevard, Sherman Oaks
LAFD Engine 102 has arrived on the scene of a possible structure fire. They advise OCD of the situation, which is a "three-story apartments over garages, with nothing showing." They continue to investigate the scene.

8:14 a.m. LAFD Light Force 60 also responded to the alarm call, and has investigated the source of the possible structure fire. It is determined to be "food on the stove."

8:17 a.m. 6000 block of Vineland Avenue, North Hollywood
The LAPD dispatcher fills in more information to the North Hollywood LAPD officers who responded to the call about a possible man with a shotgun and a baby. The call was first received by a "child abuse hotline," then the information was forwarded to LAPD dispatch. The caller did not provide a name or leave a callback number. The officers on the scene have investigated and determined that there is "no crime."
