A gunshot was fired into a building in Encino tonight, but no injuries were reported, police said.
The shooting was reported around 10 p.m. in the building in the 16800 block of Ventura Boulevard, near Balboa Boulevard, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Karen Rayner.
No one was injured and there was no immediate word on damage to the building, Rayner said. Officers from the LAPD's West Valley Station were investigating, Rayner said.
