Increase in Burglary from Motor Vehicles in Encino and Tarzana

This type of crime is on the rise, according to the LAPD.

There has been an increase in burglary from motor vehicles, especially in the area of Tarzana and Encino along both sides of the Ventura Fwy.

Some of these victims left valuables in plain sight in their vehicles. Some victims also left their vehicles unlocked.

Auto parts, such as third row seats, air bags, batteries were taken. There have been a few Nissan Altima’s that have been targeted this week.

Please remember to lock your vehicle and not to leave valuables in plain sight "LOCK IT, HIDE IT, KEEP IT " Try to park your vehicle in a garage or carport, off the street if possible.
