What is this about "1 mile east of Encino"? It's called "Sherman Oaks."

Who knows how they come up with this stuff? I got reamed in the first earthquake for calling it Westwood instead of Encino. They call this one Encino and other publications say 7 miles from Universal City!

My guess is because this is the "Encino-Tarzana" Patch, so everything should be in relation to Encino or Tarzana and how it affects our neighborhoods....but that's just my guess.
