One local Encino resident recently reported to Patch that cars in their neighborhood in subterranean garages have been the target of thieves.
The Los Angeles Police Department is reporting an increase in burglaries from motor vehicles parked in subterranean garages. This alert below was issued by the Van Nuys Division of the LAPD.
Subterranean parking garages are being targeted by burglars who are breaking into vehicles. Please be mindful of this and properly secure your vehicles. Also remember to remove your valuables & avoid parking in islolated spots.
