Police Blotter: 11 Burglary Thefts From Vehicles in 9 days
This weekly crime alert is to remind vehicle owners to lock their vehicles and to take valuable items with them or keep them out of view.
These are the crimes in Encino reported to the Los Angeles Police Department for Feb. 4-12, as compiled by the Los Angeles Times.

Feb. 12
A burglary from vehicle was reported at 1:45 p.m. in the 5100 block of Hayvenhurst Avenue.

An attempted burglary was reported at 8:45 a.m. in the 3400 block of Alana Drive.
Feb. 11
A petty theft was reported at 2:10 p.m. in the 17400 block of Bullock Street.
Feb. 10
A stolen vehicle was reported at 9 p.m. in the 5300 block of White Oak Avenue.
A burglary from vehicle was reported at 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of Lindley Avenue and Burbank Boulevard.
A burglary from vehicle was reported at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Burbank and Balboa boulevards.
Feb. 9
A burglary from vehicle was reported at 1:15 p.m. at the intersection of Mulholland and Encino Hills drives.
Feb. 8
A recovered vehicle, a robbery and a stolen vehicle were reported at 5:45 p.m. in the 16900 block of Burbank Boulevard.
Feb. 7
A burglary was reported at 1:11 p.m. in the 5400 block of White Oak Avenue.
A burglary from vehicle was reported at 12:05 a.m. in the 15900 block of Meadowcrest Road.
Feb. 6
A burglary was reported at 10:22 p.m. in the 17800 block of Ventura Boulevard.
A burglary from vehicle was reported at 10 p.m. in the 5100 block of White Oak Avenue.
A burglary from vehicle was reported at 3 p.m. in the 5400 block of Yarmouth Avenue.
Feb. 5
A grand theft was reported at 7:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of Woodley Avenue.
A petty theft was reported at 3:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of Sherman Oaks Avenue.
A burglary from vehicle and an identity theft were reported at 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Balboa and Burbank boulevards.
Feb. 4
A burglary was reported at 10:30 p.m. in the 16400 block of Ventura Boulevard.
A burglary from vehicle was reported at 4 p.m. in the 5800 block of Lasaine Avenue.
A burglary from vehicle was reported at 4 p.m. in the 5800 block of Lasaine Avenue.
A burglary from vehicle was reported at 1 p.m. in the 16000 block of Meadowcrest Road.
