Police Blotter: A Robbery, Thefts and Burglaries

The following crimes in Encino were reported to the Los Angeles Police Department from Feb. 27 to Mar. 6, as compiled by the Los Angeles Times.

Feb. 27

A grand theft was reported at 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Burbank and Balboa boulevards.

A robbery was reported at 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Lindley Avenue and Victory.

A petty theft from vehicle was reported at 10 p.m. in the 15500 block of Hesby Street.

Feb. 28

A burglary was reported at 10 a.m. in the 17600 block of Bullock Street.

An attempted burglary from vehicle was reported at 7 p.m. in the 5500 block of Encino Avenue.

Feb. 29

A grand theft was reported at 4:45 p.m. in the 4700 block of Haskell Avenue.

A burglary was reported at 5 p.m. in the 17800 block of Duncan Street.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 9:30 p.m. in the 5400 block of White Oak Avenue.

A burglary and a prowler were reported at 11 p.m. in the 5500 block of Edward E Horton Lane.

Mar. 1

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 2 a.m. in the 16700 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A petty theft was reported at 10:30 a.m. in the 5100 block of Gloria Avenue.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 7:45 p.m. in the 17200 block of Burbank Boulevard.

Mar. 2

A petty theft from vehicle was reported at 4:40 a.m. in the 15700 block of Hartsook Street.

A burglary from vehicle and a vandalism (petty) were reported at 7:15 p.m. in the 17900 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 9 p.m. in the 17600 block of Ventura Boulevard.

Mar. 3

A grand theft was reported at 1 p.m. in the 4800 block of Genesta Avenue.

A burglary was reported at 7:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of Woodley Avenue.

Mar. 4

A burglary was reported at 9 p.m. in the 5400 block of White Oak Avenue.

Mar. 5

A shoplifting (petty) was reported at 11:45 a.m. in the 16400 block of Ventura Boulevard.

Mar. 6

A petty theft was reported at 11:40 a.m. in the 17300 block of Ventura Boulevard.
