Police Blotter: Violent Crime Spikes Up in Encino

Here's a roundup of reported crimes in Encino from June 26 to July 1.

 

The following crimes in Encino were reported to the Los Angeles Police Department from June 26 to July 1, as compiled by the Los Angeles Times.

Sunday, July 1
Aggravated assault was reported at 5 p.m. on the 17500 block of Ventura Blvd.

Theft from vehicle was reported at 2 p.m. on the 15900 block of Dickens St.

Saturday, June 30
Theft was reported at 7:25 p.m. on the 17600 block of Burbank Blvd.

Friday, June 29
Grand theft auto was reported at 8 p.m. on the 17100 block of Adlon Rd.

Burglary was reported at 6:30 p.m. on the 16700 block of Magnolia Blvd.

Thursday, June 28
Theft was reported at 4 p.m. on the 4500 block of Petit Av.

Theft from vehicle was reported at 8 a.m. at the corner of Killion Avenue and Louise Avenue

Aggravated assault was reported at 3:10 a.m. on the 16500 block of Hartsook St.

Wednesday, June 27
Theft from vehicle was reported at 5 p.m. on the 17200 block of Otsego St.

Theft from vehicle was reported at noon on the 17200 block of Ventura Blvd.

Burglary was reported at 1 a.m. on 15900 block of Ventura Blvd.

Tuesday, June 26
Theft from vehicle was reported at 10:30 p.m. on the 4300 block of Valley Meadow Rd.

Theft was reported at 7:30 p.m. on the 17900 block of Ventura Blvd.

Aggravated assault was reported at 5:15 p.m. at Lindley Avenue and Burbank Boulevard.

Grand Theft Auto was reported at 4:30 p.m. at Lindley Avenue and Burbank Boulevard.
