Police Investigating Series of Window Break-Ins

Four businesses had their windows smashed between Friday night and Saturday morning.

A rash of overnight break-ins at Tarzana businesses have police in search of a suspect, who could possibly be connected to a number of break-ins that have occurred over the past week.

Four local businesses, including the Aroma Bakery Cafe, Peet's Coffee and A Touch of Romance, had their windows smashed between Friday night at 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

Each business is along the 18000 or 19000 block of Ventura boulevard, and the suspect has been described as an older man, in his 40s or 50s, driving a dark-colored SUV.
