Power Out in About 600 Homes

Winds cause power lines to fall.

About 600 customers were without power tonight in Encino because of downed wires, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

The outage was reported at 4:57 p.m. in the Encino area because of the wind, Gale Harris of the DWP said.

Crews were on scene, but there was no estimate when power would be restored, Harris said.
