Reseda Shooting Suspect Arrested

Police responded to reports of a shooting this morning; it was not immediately clear if anyone was shot.

Los Angeles police arrested a man Tuesday who emerged from a Reseda building, reportedly while holding a pistol to his head.

Police were sent to the 10000 block of Reseda Boulevard on the reports of a shooting at about 10:20 a.m., an LAPD Media Relations officer said.

The suspect apparently was shooting into the air, police reported. It was not immediately clear if anyone was shot.

The suspect apparently surrendered about 15 minutes later, and may be being treated by firefighters for a head injury suffered during his arrest.
