Scanner Report: Tuesday Morning Keeps LAFD Busy

These are some of the calls the police and fire department dealt with today.

7:36 a.m. 7500 block of Reseda Boulevard, Reseda

LAFD Engine 70 and Rescue 70 are dispatched to attend to a person with "difficult respiration" at the location.

7:38 a.m. Northbound 405 Freeway, Van Nuys

West Valley Division and Van Nuys Division LAPD are informed of "racing vehicles" on the 405 Freeway. The patrol units are provided the information but not directed for a specific response.

7:56 a.m. 10000 block of Shoup Avenue, Chatsworth

Devonshire Division LAPD patrol units are called to investigate a "code 30 ringer" (an audible burglar alarm) at a residence.

7:56 a.m.  4500 block of Willis Avenue, Sherman Oaks

LAFD Engine 88 is requested to assist LAPD with an investigation at the address.

8:26 a.m.  6600 block of Wilkinson Avenue, North Hollywood

LAFD Rescue 89 and Rescue 889 are called to the scene of an "unconscious person."

8:32 a.m.  4600 Coldwater Canyon Avenue, North Hollywood

LAFD Light Force 78 and Rescue 860 are sent to attend to a person suffering from a "hemorrhage" at the residence.

8:39 a.m.  12500 block of Chandler Boulevard, North Hollywood

LAFD Engine 102 and Rescue 860 are sent to help a person suffering from a "headache" at the residence.

8:39 a.m.  12500 block of Chandler Boulevard, North Hollywood

The call previously dispatched for a "headache" has been upgraded to "chest pains."

8:56 a.m.  6400 block of Vesper Avenue, Van Nuys

LAFD Rescue 39 and Rescue 818 are sent to help a person suffering from a "hemorrhage." 

9:06 a.m.  21600 block of Saticoy Street, Canoga Park

LAFD Rescue 72 is dispatched to help a person suffering from a "hemorrhage" at the residence. 

9:06 a.m.  14400 block of Emelita Street, Van Nuys

Light Force 31 and Rescue 81 are sent to help a "sick person" at the residence.

9:21 a.m.  11500 block of Sheldon Street, Sun Valley

Foothill Division LAPD patrol units are called to the scene of a "211 just occurred" (robbery) at Classic Bath Design. The alleged suspects are "Four males, Hispanic, with suspect #1 wearing gray-blue t-shirt and baggy blue jeans, suspect #2 wearing a black baseball cap and a kerchief covering his neck." The robbery suspects were seen driving a "white, 4-door Chevy, with partial license plate 5PYW2." The robbers took a "TV box, with cabinet doors inside." The person who called the police reported struggling with the robbers, and being pushed by them. 

9:34 a.m. 7900 block of Vineland Avenue, Sun Valley

Foothill Division LAPD is sent to the scene for a "possible attempted suicide." A male, 43 years old, wearing black pants, a yellow hat and a checkered jacket." The man is calling from a public phone at the corner of Strathern Street and Vineland Avenue.
