Suspicious Package Reported in Tarzana Is Deemed Safe
The item is discovered at Reseda and Ventura Boulevards.
A suspicious package reported today in Tarzana snarled traffic on the 101 Freeway for hours, police said.
The package was reported at 7:27 p.m. at Reseda and Ventura boulevards, according to Sgt. Kathy Ryan of the Los Angeles Police Department's West Valley station.
On and off ramps were closed at Reseda Boulevard on the eastbound and westbound 101 during the investigation, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The package was deemed safe and the area was cleared around 9:45 p.m., Ryan said.
