Brainstorm How to Save Los Encinos Park

The Encino Neighborhood Council will hold its general meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the , 4935 Balboa Blvd.

Join the council for a lively discussion and brainstorming of ways to save Los Encino State Historic Park, which is among the 70 sites slated to shut down.

The California State Parks system plans to close 70 of its 278 state parks, starting September 2011. Services will be cut this summer, and all 70 closings will be completed by July 2012.
