Tarzana Neighborhood Council Elections: Voting Starts at 4 p.m. Thursday

Voting will take place between 4-8 p.m. at the Community and Cultural Center on Ventura.

Elections will be held on September 20, 4 to 8 p.m. at the Tarzana Community and Cultural Center, 19130 Ventura Blvd, Tarzana (corner of Vanalden and Ventura).

For details on the candidates, click here. The candidates have also been invited to a special 'candidates tent,' which will be 100 feet away from the polling booth (due to legal requirements) tomorrow. Tarzana residents, business owners and other stakeholders are invited to chat to the candidates either before or after casting their votes.

Don't forget to bring photo ID with you to vote, as well as proof of your Tarzana address for your home or business. According to Len Shaffer, current president of the TNC, city tax bills, state tax bill and citations sent to your home can all be used as proof. If you are homeless and reside in Tarzana, bring as much proof as you have, whether it be proof of a hospital visit or perhaps a police citation.
