VIDEO: "Stay Home, Shop Local This Weekend," Say Los Angeles Officials

Residents are being urged to stay close to home this weekend during the 53 hour closure of the 405 freeway.

Los Angeles City and County officials are urging residents to "stay home, shop local, and stay away from the 405 Freeway," during this weekend's freeway closure.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky issued a message for residents at a press conference Wednesday evening at the Sherman Oaks Galleria. Patch has this video report.
