Lanai Road Elementary Teacher/Parent Rally

On Friday, May 13, teachers and parents of Lanai Road Elementary will march from our school to Ventura Blvd. in order to raise public awareness about the threatened cuts to schools.  35% of Lanai Road teachers received pink slips this year -- and we cannot afford to lose any of our wonderful teachers!  

Our schools have faced significant cuts in recent years, and further cuts are on the table.  Our children are the future workers, business owners and community leaders of Encino and California -- and they deserve a quality education to prepare them for their future.
