Crespi's Jordan Simmons Headed for Army All-American Bowl, Despite Injury

The offensive lineman hurt his knee during practice, but should be well by Saturday, school says.

The Army All-American Bowl is this Saturday, and Crespi's own Jordan Simmons is among the lineup.

There were concerns that he might not be fit enough to play after a knee injury suffered during a practice game, according to various online reports, including this one from ESPN.

Paul Rawate, director of marketing and public relations at Crespi, said in an email to Patch that Simmons is "staying off the knee by not practicing but should be good to go this weekend."
