Lenny Dykstra, Jose Canseco to Fight Saturday

The two ex-ballplayers are set to box at the Avalon Hollywood nightclub.

Former baseball star and Encino resident continued to make headlines Thursday.

Dykstra has signed up for a boxing match with fellow ex-Major League Baseball star Jose Canseco; the two will fight it out over three one-minute rounds at the Avalon Hollywood nightclub, according to the New York Daily News.

It also seems that he's backed out of a previous engagement—an autograph signing—to do it, according to one Philadelphia-based website.
