The 12-and-under Encino Little League team remained undefeated with a 10-9 victory over Pasadena American.
It didn't come easy, as Encino fought back from a 4-0 deficit in the first inning, and a 6-4 deficit in the fourth inning.
"We've had more come-from-behind wins than we've had being ahead the whole game," said Justin Greenwald.
Greenwald smashed a two-run homer, his second in two games, and also won the pitching decision. Cameron Bolger belted three RBI's and added one run. Elijah West hurled seven strikeouts in just 3.2 innings and hit one RBI. Seth Stone scored two runs. Mike Cohen scored one run and hit one RBI. Jamie Robertson scored twice. Blake Hanson, Jack Scher and Gordon Magruder each scored once. Magruder shut the door on Pasadena's comeback attempt with the save.
Encino will host Cresenta Valley at 9 a.m. Sunday in a matchup of two unbeaten teams.
