The Los Angeles Dept. of Water and Power (LADWP) distributing station helps ensure the reliable flow of electricity to Encino residents and businesses. It has successfully begun delivering recycled water to irrigate Woodley, Encino and Balboa golf courses, as well as the Balboa Sports Complex. It also provides water for the Los Angeles River, the Japanese Garden, Lake Balboa and the Wildlife Lake in the Sepulveda Basin. Together, recycled water to these facilities totals more than 400 million gallons.
