Urban Salad Bar opened in late 2009 as a place for customers to put together their own salads for lunch. Along one wall is the salad bar, full of greens, vegetables, cheeses, meats, dressings and other toppings. The owner finds as much organic produce as possible to offer, with 90 percent of the greens in the bar labeled organic. Salads made at the bar are priced per pound, but customers can also choose from a selection of prepared salads, grilled paninis or wraps. Two soup choices are made fresh daily. Mediterranean sides are also available, including hummus, pita bread, falafel, grape leaf wraps and Greek yogurt.
