In the past…Read More when British regimental bands appeared more frequently in SoCal, I would go out of my way to be sure to attend ANY British regimental band or pipe band. It was well worth it for the music, pagentry, and precision. But then I use to be in a local pipe band playing tenor drum (54thSt. Band-now disbanded) and regularly attended the West Coast Highland Games in Orange County, Santa Monica and in the bay area., I couldn't wait until the event time would come around..

I always wondered…Read More why he did not make a map app showing all the locations he visited? There is only the embedded Google point map on the Cal Gold site. Maybe Chapman University students will make a cool app with ALL the locations he stopped at. With current related history/travel links, geocaching to spots he visited, proximity alarms, blog trip notes from others, and other travel features. I would buy it. Would not be that hard to create.
