<strong>The Early Years</strong>

I was born in New Jersey and began my migration west after the record breaking snowfalls of 1979, having vowed to never again risk breaking my coccyx after falling on ice. I stopped in Arizona to obtain a bachelor’s degree — and a bachelor — and continued on to California. I received my M.S. in Audiology at UCSB, married Josh (the bachelor) and settled down in Los Angeles where Josh was born and raised. We moved from our rent controlled Montana Avenue apartment to the valley for the same reason many young couples do: larger lots and lower home prices! We found even more than that, which was a wonderful and warm place to call home.

<strong>The Last ~20 Years</strong>

Josh and I have lived in the Encino area since 1988 and have three children, Rachel (20), Eli (19) and Nathan (16). The years have been spent raising children, driving, volunteering for countless committees, events and causes, and more driving. Besides driving, I enjoy reading, knitting, walking with the girls, sailing, going to the movies, Disneyland, watching reality TV and, most of all, traveling.

I love my family and I especially love my family on vacation. We have traveled to places near and far and I have spent endless hours researching and planning amazing vacations for us to enjoy.Places I&#39;ve been able to cross off my list are: India,Japan, French Polynesia, England, Italy, France, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, Bahamas, Hawaii and many US states. I finally decided to turn my passion into a career and now work as an Independent Travel Consultant in association with Calig Travel and Cruises and ALTOUR International.
