Laura Sturza is a former staff reporter for the Burbank Leader, a Los Angeles Times Community Newspaper. Her stories have also appeared in Los Angeles Magazine, Emmy Magazine and Below the Line. Laura's plays have been produced in NY, Washington, DC and Santa Fe, NM. Her radio pieces have been broadcast on Albuquerque National Public Radio affiliate KUNM. She is currently shopping her latest radio piece "Make Yourself at Home," about searching for the perfect place to live in the LA area. Her eclectic resume includes time working as an antique dealer, a dance company manager, an adjunct communication professor, and the marketing director for a loft builder. Currently, Laura is a freelance writer and a Graduate Advisor at the University of Southern California. Laura's writing interests are as diverse as her resume: government, development, transportation, health/fitness, the arts, animals, profiles of interesting people and education.
