I've never considered myself to be a writer despite compliments from Oscar and Emmy Award winning writers encouraging me to keep the writing up. My articles are about subjects that interest me. Life and people fascinate me. That means I have far more things to write about than life has time for. Much of my writing is humorous but when I'm writing about serious subjects and do consumer reporting I strive for complete accuracy. I've been writing for over 30 years for international and local publications starting accidentally long before Al Gore invented the Internet.. That slowed me down drastically. Cursive writing is my normal way of writing. It's now history as well. I might just have to learn to type especially if I need to graduate from high school or university again. I likely would flunk grade school. That's not good. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea. By profession I'm a school teacher fully and permanently credentialed. I would have to put myself into detention and punish myself by trying to use a computer to write an essay about why I'm an airhead who can't find anything I write on a computer.
